Location changes to COVID-19 testing sites starting Monday, Oct. 12

In preparation for colder weather, the university is making a number of changes to our on-campus COVID-19 testing site locations and hours. The following is a list of locations and hours that will take effect this Monday, Oct. 12. Please be sure to check this list before your next test to ensure your usual location is still open.

Spring 2021 Study Abroad Suspension

The University has extended the suspension of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign study abroad through May 2021. This decision applies to Spring 2021 and includes all program types (exchange, direct enroll, provider programs, faculty-led, and study abroad by petition). Study abroad departing in June 2021 will evaluated in early spring.

We are preparing our testing sites for colder weather.

The university is working to shift some tent testing sites indoors. Please continue to check the list of on-campus testing sites for the most current locations and hours before you test.

We have updated the Safer Illinois app to check the wait times at each of our 17 testing locations.

The wait times are categorized into green, yellow and red, with green meaning little to no wait.

We are sharing resources to help others maximize safety.

Massmail: Get your flu shot

McKinley Health Center is providing free flu shots to all students who have paid the Health Service Fee. The seasonal flu shot is also available to benefit eligible faculty, staff and retirees. There are several locations across campus between now and the end of October.

We are providing more detailed information about the university’s on-campus testing program.

We announced some important changes to our on-campus COVID-19 testing program earlier this week.

We are increasing enforcement of COVID-19 safety guidelines.

The university expects all undergraduate students to significantly restrict in-person activities until Wednesday, Sept. 16.

We are sharing information to help our university community respond to COVID-19.
