On-campus events update
As part of our region’s transition into Phase IV of the governor’s Restore Illinois Plan, facilities at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign may resume hosting in-person, on-campus events for university faculty, staff and students.
Event organizers will be strongly encouraged to check participants’ building access status in either the Safer Illinois app or Boarding Pass to ensure testing compliance. The university is still encouraging virtual events when possible. Non-business visitors are still discouraged at university events and in university facilities.
